Starboard Lounge is a social networking website. It is aimed for anyone working or sailing on cruise ships, boats or yachts as well as those who used to work aboard and want to find or keep in touch with old friends all over the world, but everyone is welcome to become a member.

Where did it all start?

Starboard Lounge started life as CrewBar, back in 2000. The innitial idea was to create a site through wich existing and ex cruise ship crew members can get in touch with lost friends or colleagues. Since then the CrewBar community has been growing steadily and although there have been some improvements along the way to the website, none were as radical as this one. Along with the launch of Starboard Lounge we can offer you a brand new site with brand new features.
